Introducing Four Advent Calendars
2 separate disciplines, 4 Advent calendars, 24 days, 96 articles. ’Tis the season to be learning — a lot!

We spend a lot of time learning every day! We read articles, listen to podcasts and watch talks. Time to give back!
Starting December 1, we are providing you with 4 (!) Advent calendars, each with a particular focus. For the days leading up to Christmas Eve, each calendar will publish a new article, introducing a new topic, technique or top tip. Our 4 calendars will be about JavaScript, React, Elm and security.
Each article will be a quick read, and more of an introduction than a deep dive. Just enough to catch your interest. Most articles even come with some great links at the bottom, so you can dig in deeper if you have the time.

We have created calendars for a while, but mostly they have been about small coding challenges. Last year, we launched react.christmas as a personal initiative. This new format caught the attention of the React community, with thousands of readers following along.
This year, we’re reaching wider. Upwards of 30 of our colleagues are writing about what they love the most, and sharing some of their knowledge about four specific topics.
These are the four sites to follow for the next 24 days:
javascript.christmas
JavaScript is one of the most versatile, popular and crazy languages out there. We use it — in some respect — for every product we build. This calendar focuses on the language itself, and all the crazy things you can do with JS.
react.christmas
React has quickly solidified the position as the framework of choice for app making. Web sites, native apps and even AR can be (and is) done in React these days. This calendar provides you with articles based on real production experience from some of the largest projects in the country.
elm.christmas
Elm is what React could have been if it was a language, designed with stability and developer experience in mind. We have one of the strongest Elm communities in the country, and we love to share our passion. This calendar will get you from Elm noob to Elm woop in 24 days — for sure.
security.christmas
Security is a slightly different topic than the other three, but also tremendously important in all the projects we do. This calendar will provide you with easy-to-follow tips, tricks and insights about security in your apps!
